I Finally Found Someone

I Finally Found Someone

by Bryan Adams & Barbra Streissand

Lyrics to sing along with :)

[Bryan:]
I finally found someone, that knocks me off my feet
I finally found the one, that makes me feel complete
[Barbra:]
We started over coffee, we started out as friends
It's funny how from simple things, the best things begin
[Bryan:]
This time it's different,

[Barbra:]
Dah dah dah dah

[Bryan:]
It's all because of you,

[Barbra:]
Dah dah dah dah

[Bryan:]
It's better than it's ever been

[Both:]
'Cause we can talk it through

[Barbra:]
Oohh, my favorite line was "Can I call you sometime?"
It's all you had to say

[Both:]
To take my breath away
This is it, oh, I finally found someone
Someone to share my life
I finally found the one, to be with every night

[Barbra:]
'Cause whatever I do,

[Bryan:]
It's just got to be you
My life has just begun
I finally found someone,

[Barbra:]
Ooh, someone

[Bryan:]
I finally found someone,

[Barbra:]
Oooh...

[Bryan:]
Did I keep you waiting,

[Barbra:]
I didn't mind

[Bryan:]
I apologize,

[Barbra:]
Baby, that's fine

[Bryan:]
I would wait forever

[Both:]
Just to know you were mine

[Bryan:]
You know I love your hair,

[Barbra:]
Are you sure it looks right?

[Bryan:]
I love what you wear,

[Barbra:]
Isn't it too tight?

[Bryan:]
You're exceptional,

[Both:]
I can't wait for the rest of my life...
This is it, oh, I finally found someone
Someone to share my life
I finally found the one, to be with every night

[Barbra:]
'Cause whatever I do,

[Bryan:]
It's just got to be you
My life has just begun
I finally found someone,

[Barbra:]
Whatever I do,

[Bryan:]
It's just got to be you

[Both:]
My life has just begun
I finally found someone...

Kaze no Ne (Sound of the Wind)

Current Addiction: Kaze no Ne (Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles OST)
Check out the English translation. The lyrics are beautifully written.

Kaze no Ne (Sound of the Wind) - Japanese Release
Kirameku hoshizora wa yume no ma ni ma ni
A sky of glittering stars speaks to me
Tadayotteru watashi e to katarikakeru
Wandering at the mercy of dreams

Sazameku kaze no ne wa tobira no hiraku ne
The sound of the rippling wind is the sound that opens the door
Ima hajimaru monogatari no hiraku ne
The sound that will unfold the story that now begins

Habataku toritachi mo hi o abi tonde yuku
Flapping birds fly off too, bathed in the sun
Saa, tabidatsu toki ga kita
The time has come for your departure
Mayowazu ni yuke
Don't hesitate--just go

Daijoubu--to asayake no sora wa itta
"It's all right" said the sunrise sky

Yurameku kokoro no oku ni
If you hide in the depths of a wavering heart
Kakurete wa mieru
You can still be seen
Afureru omoide o kakarete
Carrying memories that overflow

Furikaeru na--asayake no sora wa itta
"Don't turn back" said the sunrise sky

Hatenaki yama no mukou ni
If you hide beyond the endless mountains
Kakurete wa mieru
You can still be seen
Kasuka na hikari made aruite
Walking along toward the hazy light

Hatenaki sora no mukou ni
If you hide beyond the endless sky
Kakurete wa mieru
You can still be seen
Tashika na miraizu o motomete
Searching for a reliable future

English Release
Dreaming of the stars on high
That speak to me in secret sighs
Drifting on a breeze only I can feel and hear

Could it be the sacred wind
It's calling me to now begin
To walk into the dark carrying the light of tomorrow

Beating are the wings up high
Beyond the earth, beyond the sky
Come now, don't hesitate
Don't look back, we've got to go now

Don't fear
You'll be safe from now on
Morning sky watching over the world

Deep inside so silent
Here my heart must beat
Deep inside of me
Memories flickering and shimmering on endlessly

Keeping close to the path
Morning sky watching over the world

Moving over endless mountains oh so high
Walking to the light
Your heart will see the path and you will find the way
Just wait and see

Moving over endless sky oh so high
Tomorrow will follow
When above, your promise is today
Just wait and see

Cooking Fever!

The little mouse just love to try her little hands with new (and rather peculiar) recipes. Thank God her family have not (and will NOT, amen!) gotten any food poisoning or any sort of tummy discomfort.

There are many non-celebrity good chefs out there with great recipes and cooking/baking tips. They may not be Jamie Oliver or Nigella, but check out their site:

Look who I found hanging in a small corner of a shop :)

Ironically, my closed friend Sue Anne brought me to notice that "she" was hanging beside me.

The little frog in my room

I found a little frog in my room,
One fine afternoon, as I groomed my room.

I wonder high, I wonder low,
How it leaped in, I really do not know.

For all doors are closed and all windows are shut,
Entering my room would be like cracking a tough nut.

Rather a disgust, I thought at first glance,
Nothing to adore or awe, by any chance.

With a head full with steam and a broom in my hand,
I tried to chase it out with all that I can.

I screamed and yelled and stomped my feet,
With the broom in my hand, I swinged in an unruly beat.

But the little frog neither would budge nor cry nor flee,
Instead, it looked at me with its eyes cute as can be.

The little frog let out a comforting smile,
Then my heart softened like a little child.

“If you may, I truly want to be your friend,
For you, I really wish to care and tend.”

Its words touched my heart oh so deeply,
And so, a kiss I laid on its head, light and gently.

Lo and behold, the frog suddenly transformed,
Into prince charming, it astonishingly formed.

Oh dear, oh gosh, what is going on?
Dear prince charming, where you come from?

“Remember what I told you not too long ago?
I hope to be your friend, and not your foe.”

Such beautiful blessing, oh so surprising,
This little frog in my room is rather bewildering.

Dear little cute frog, you’re such an adore,
You entered my sealed room, which can be rather a bore.

You offered me friendship and joy and many more,
Yes, little frog, you’re such an adore.

The 1st KL International Dance Festival

http://www.thedancespace.com.my/dance_festival/index.htm

The little mouse is way so excited to attend the Gala Dinner, featuring the finals of the world ranking Latin and Ballroom and Middle Eastern dance competition!

To be honest, the little mouse nearly misses the opportunity. Yes, it's all due to the loooooong working hours that thus oblige the little mouse to skip most of her dance classes last month :( Nevertheless, thank God, at the eleventh hour, someone pull out from the event. And thus, her ticket is now in her little mousie hand!

Thank GOD !

You're Everything

A cool new song by Michael Buble :)

And here's the lyrics to sing along with :)

You're a falling star
You're the get away car
You're the line in the sand when I go too far
You're the swimming pool, on an August day
And You're the perfect thing to say

And you play your card, but it's kinda cute
Ah, When you smile at me you know exactly what you do
Baby don't pretend, that you don't know it's true
Cause you can see it when I look at you

Chorus:
And in this crazy life
And through these crazy times
It's you, it's you
You make me sing
You're every line
You're every word
You're everything

You're a carousel
You're a wishing well
And you light me up
When you ring my bell
You're a mystery
You're from outer space
You're every minute of my everyday.

And I can't believe, that I'm your man
And I get to kiss you baby just because I can
Whatever comes our way, we'll see it through
And you know that's what our love can do

Chorus:
And in this crazy life
And through these crazy times
It's you, it's you
You make me sing
You're every line
You're every word
You're everything

So, La, La, La, La, La, La, La
So, La, La, La, La, La, La, La

Chorus:
And in this crazy life
And through these crazy times
It's you, it's you
You make me sing
You're every line
You're every word
You're everything
You're every song
And I sing along
Cause you're my everything

So, La, La, La, La, La, La, La
So, La, La, La, La, La, La, La

Riddles of Life (2)

Ah… Another riddles of life yet to be pondered about. Just then, a dear cassette I once gave away returned back to me. Yes, I have to emphasize again, the album is uniquely scarce. However, it was only last two weeks while I was on a journey in a foreign land; I stumbled upon the same album. This time, it was packaged in a high quality CD. Overjoyed with such, I must say, divine encounter, I hurriedly purchased the CD.

What I thought was lost forever was returned.

And returned, better than before…

Wow… I am truly amazed.

Phantom of the Opera! Magically Breathtaking!

Majestic! Magical! Marvelously superb!

The little mouse and her chipmunk friend were utterly speechless and awed. Last weekend, the two little creatures journeyed all the way to Lioncity, to watch Phantom of the Opera. The journey, though quite costly (each spend about 160 Dil on bus ticket, 160 Liondil on performance ticket and 85 Dil on accommodation), it was worth it all!!

The stage was wondrous!! The changing of scenes and moving of props was so quick and professionally done, it is as though the scene has magically changed itself! And… yes… they even have the oh-so-famous chandelier, hanging on top of the audiences! And, yes, the chandelier did “crash” down, just as the story tells. Of course, not on the audience. It went vertically down at first, then slant and “crashed” the stage.

And, oh, the scene where the Phantom kidnap the ever-so-lovely Christine and took her on a boat ride to his underground lair. Majestic!! The stage turned into an underground river, with candles “sprouting” out from stage floor. The perspective created was indeed marvelous. The stage literally does look like an underground river. Beautiful!! The scene was majestically beautiful!!

The singing was wonderful! The orchestra was beautiful! Raoul was very charming. And he and Christine were both beautifully in loved, singing “Say you love me” on the roof top. The masquerade was flamboyantly colourful as can be. And… the Phantom… well, he’s kinda chubby in mousie opinion. But, he was great!! Chubby, but still great :)

Truly an experience of a lifetime. The little mouse thanked God for such opportunity to watch her ever-so-loved Phantom of the Opera live! The little mouse doubt if anyone who will not be mesmerized by it…

Riddles of Life

Life is full with riddles. Peculiar, yet interestingly miraculous riddles.

Some made us smile and laugh. Like the seven-coloured curved stripe on the sky. Who would have guessed, a horrendous storm can bring such beautiful craving on the sky.

Some made us cry and shiver and fuming with anger. The sarcastic words cannon-balled . The ignored heart. The many failed attempts. “Why?” you screamed, you yelled, you sobbed, “Why?”.

Just then, I had lost my dear watch. But, if I really think of it, it was not mine to begin with. Had it on my wrist for years, but gone within seconds. Misplacement? Slipped out? Whatever the reason maybe, it is another riddle of life.

Though was saddened by its lost, deep down in my heart, I felt a certain sense of joy. Relieved, to be precise. Set free? Well, literally speaking, my left wrist is now bare. But I’d hope, it will return back to its rightful owner, whom, as I mentioned earlier, is not me.

Another then, I had found something I had lost. You see, a precious cassette of mine given away to the same person above. I love my dear cassette. It was a definite extinct. I thought I could never see it again. Ever again? I was oh so wrong...

A dear friend of mine not knowingly had same cassette. Found while she was spring cleaning, she concluded that she can never know how to appreciate such unique opus. Thus, she handed it to me. Yes, the cassette I lost. Who would have thought, what was lost, can returned? Another riddle, I supposed.

Riddles of life, they make life so colourful.
Blue would not know he is blue, if he had not met dear red.
Mountain peak would not be that high, if there is no valley.
Time would not be precious, if the clock had stopped ticking.
Light would not breakthrough, if there is no blanket of darkness.
Love would not know its place, if you do not have a fragile heart.
Life is full with riddles. Ridiculous it maybe.

Like a jigsaw puzzle, with each ridiculously shaped pieces combined together.

A beautiful picture, in the end of it all...

A picture of...

Me.

Piano Squall

Stumble into this website one fine day. Discover that it is quite cool. That is if you're interested in piano and games/anime OST.

This guy, by the nickname Piano Squall, is an "Anime and Game Pianist". Yes, Squall as in THE Squall Leonhart from FF VIII. And yes, this guy apparently wears Squall's costume while he plays the piano (wondering, if that can actually boost up his piano skills).

http://www.pianosquall.com

* Note: Check out his website and watch him play in the video section. There are also piano song sheets of anime/game OST so you can try your fingers on.

But, ponder of all ponders, why Squall? After much ponder, the little mouse thought of a few “good” candidates (*ahem* tips for those who would want to imitate Piano Squall).

  • Sephiroth - Evil and mean looking. Focus on playing only battle and gory songs

  • Cloud Strife - hmm… Cloud playing the piano, I like that!

  • Tidus - Bare chest + bermuda pants + grand piano ?!?!?

  • Mog - Its fingers are too fat for the piano keys… And does it have five fingers in the first place??

  • Vincent Valentine – Ohh, sexy. But can only play with his right hand (unless he drop his “claws” on his left hand)

  • Zidane – cute :)

  • Chocobo – err... hmm... arr... Oversized chicken playing piano... no comment

Lost Watch

My watch I lost one destined day,
The clouds suddenly seem so gray,
But wonder why, really, that day,
My heart had never been so gay?

A sudden change I felt, I sensed,
Though it does not seem to make any sense,
Like another realm I have transcend,
Or maybe, just my imagination leaking without consent.

Lord, send Your divine wisdom as aid,
So that the focus on You will never fade,
And remind me of the price You paid,
And Your will and my purpose, that I am made.

Amen.

Final Fantasy Masterpieces

Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra should organise a performance playing solely on Final Fantasy masterpieces. And of course, mainly on FFVII soundtrack. The series have one of the best composition the little mouse had ever heard! Ok, let me rephrase. The BEST the little mouse had ever heard (and yes, she's being very very bias).

Here's one of the OST, the ever so famous FFVII Prelude.

The original (as heard in the game)

As performed in the VOICES concert

As played by someone on the piano

And...

One-Winged Angel with a rock twist as performed in the VOICES concert.

Noah's Ark

From a forwarded email:

Everything I need to know, I learned from Noah's Ark.

ONE: Don't miss the boat.
TWO: Remember that we are all in the same boat.
THREE: Plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark.
FOUR: Stay fit. When you're 60 years old, someone may ask you to do something really big.
FIVE: Don't listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done.
SIX: Build your future on high ground.
SEVEN: For safety's sake, travel in pairs.
EIGHT: Speed isn't always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs.
NINE: When you're stressed, float a while.
TEN: Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals.
ELEVEN: No matter the storm, when you are with God, there's always a rainbow waiting.

Letter from Loved One

The little mouse leaped with joy! For she received a letter from her little loved one far, far away. A letter from her little beloved “daughter”. Yes, you heard that right, her “DAUGHTER”. Well, ok, not exactly her “daughter” kinda “daughter”. Little Seaklim is the little mouse’s sponsored child. Which means, Seaklim is a child whom the little mouse commits to provide monthly provision to. 50 Dil, to be precise, each month. A little price to pay for the joy of helping a child in need.

Little Seaklim wrote:

Dear little mouse,

I’m was happy to recived a letter and a sticker. I’m well. I do not attend school yet. Because I am to young. I will go to school when I am 6 years old. I enjoy to play with my friends near my house. How are you and you family? In my country the weather is hot too. Because this is the dry season. I thank you for sent me a letter and photo to me. I wish you prosperity.

Thank from: Seaklim

Aww… Isn’t she sweeeeeet??? And she’s just 5 years old. Go on, get yourself a son or a daughter :) You never know the differences you can make in their life!

Dancing Shoes

A mission she embarked with a friend,
On one bright sunny weekend,
In search for a shoe for her dancing delight,
So she could dance from morn’ till twilight.

To the land of Cheras, off they go,
In search of a shoe-maker that many told,
Taman Midah may not be a mine of gold,
But San Lee Shoe Shop must they behold.

Uncle Shoe-Maker humble as can be,
Though attending customer, busy as a bee,
Tips and advices he throws in for free,
On selecting good shoes for dancer wanna-be (me!).

Yes, a pair of shoe finally she ordered,
One with dark grey painted all over,
And two purple strips on the cover,
And shimmering dust glittering all over.

San Lee shoe shop, located in Taman Midah, Cheras, sells custom made dancing shoes with a very reasonable and affordable price.

Mozart Indulgence

The little mouse finally has decided to abandon Beethoven for Mozart. Yes, the gentle looking Mozart beats the agonized, lion-haired Beethoven in winning her mousie heart! On top of that, actually, the little mouse could not get the Beethoven tickets. Still, the little mouse prefers Mozart’s piano sonatas.

Ladies, which do you prefer?

Neat hair guy?

Messy hair guy?

And grab that shoe that stole your glance.

Beethoven Concerto

After missing Beethoven piano concerto, the little mouse insist and persist on going to watch Beethoven violion concerto, though she does prefer piano more.

Some enlightenment from dear Mr. Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beethoven

Ludwig van Beethoven (baptized December 17, 1770[1] – March 26, 1827) was a German composer. He is generally regarded as one of the greatest composers in the history of music, and was the predominant figure in the transitional period between the Classical and Romantic eras in Western classical music. His reputation and genius have inspired — and in many cases intimidated — ensuing generations of composers, musicians, and audiences. While primarily known today as a composer, he was also a celebrated virtuoso pianist and conductor, and an accomplished violinist.

Born in Bonn, Germany, he moved to Vienna, Austria, in his early twenties, and settled there, studying with Joseph Haydn and quickly gaining a reputation as a virtuoso pianist. In his late twenties he began to lose his hearing gradually, and yet he continued to produce notable masterpieces throughout his life, even when his deafness was almost total. Beethoven was one of the first composers who worked as a freelance — arranging subscription concerts, selling his compositions to publishers, and gaining financial support from a number of wealthy patrons — rather than being permanently employed by the church or by an aristocratic court.

Dance Information Online

Good central location to everything (well, almost) you want to know about dancing.

My favourite hang out site. Loaded with dancing resources and information. Allows you to learn how to dance easily via step-by-step video (yes, video streaming on dance steps!), listen some sample dance music, buy/sell dancing apparel, etc.

Unlocking Miracles

Dancing class was fun! Learn new steps, dance to the new beat. And yes, since the little mouse has yet to buy her purple dancing shoes, her feet are literally screaming for help.

“Ya,” said the little mouse, “I can hear my toes lamenting. But I am enjoying every beat! Woo hoo~”

And yes, she STILL has two left feet. And yes, she still holds her breathe when she dances.

“Breathe… You need to BREATHE!” exclaimed her dance instructor. Most probably because he do not want the trouble of dragging her unconscious body out of the space floor if she ever pass out.

The highlight was not only the dance, but also after the dance class.

It was late. And not to mention dark. There were only two of them; namely the little mouse and one of her friend from the dancing class. They were on paying the parking fee, when suddenly…

*cheng* *cheng* *cheng*

Another of her dancing friend, Trisie-Wisie, came to pay her parking fee as well. Haha! Got you… OK, back to story…

The little mouse and her friend waved to greet her.
Trisie-Wisie excited to see them.
Trisie-Wisie waved back.
Trisie-Wisie stepped out of her car.
Trisie-Wisie closed her car door…

Uh oh! Her car is still running. Her car key was still inside her car. And her car door was locked!

Spare keys, no. Locksmith, it was too late at night. Parking attendants, they looked like they are running away from them. Great, now what are they going to do. Attempt to break in, of course! So, there were three of them, in the empty parking lot, attempting to pull out parts from her car.

Then, a car passed by. Ohh… it was their dance instructor. He went off, but thank God he came back.

“Oh my,” he said, “how could this happened. And the car’s engine is still running. Ok, let me try. I have done this a few times.” Hmm… broken into cars a few times. Ironically, the statement seems assuring.

So, now there were four of them in the empty parking lot. He tried using a long steel, which he “extracted” from the car’s wipers, to unlock by sliding into door. But the steel was rather flimsy and short. Thus, after numerous attempts, they switched to Plan B, i.e.: breaking the window…

As the he was trying to “pull off” the car’s window, the little mouse and Trisie-Wisie attempt to unlock the door using her house door key. Yes, her house key. But as she attempt to thrust the key into the key hole, the little mouse noticed the door was opened!

“A miracle!” the dance instructor exclaimed. And yes, thank God! None of them really knew how the door suddenly became unlocked, but thank God indeed!

And so, it was a great experience for the little mouse. Not just that she had learnt new dance steps, but learnt, too, on how to break into cars. And of course she learnt that God is a god of miracles. No obstacle is too big for Him to overcome. No concern is too small for Him to care.

Yes, Lord. Make us awe! Amen.

Phantom of the Opera

Counting down two more months till watching Phantom of the Opera LIVE on stage! Yes, the little mouse and her chipmunk friend bought tickets to watch her ever so loved musical stage performance, staging down south in Lioncity. Oh, for her love on musicals, especially this! A dream come true indeed! The excitement and the anticipation!

That is why...

Her little friend is constantly reminding her to behave herself. And not, I repeat NOT, to sing along every song. The little mouse is very, very capable of that. Mind you, maybe she'll dance too. Yes, you heard that right. So, let's keep her in prayer, that she will be in her best behaviour, amen :)

Abigail the Mouse

The little mouse paid a visit to the wise ol' Uncle Google and found something rather interesting about herself. Little did the little mouse know, she is very much featured in books and cartoons and plays. Books, cartoons and plays for little children, to be precise.

There's this cartoon on the family of Furlings, where Abigail Wood Mouse explore new adventures with her cute furry friends.

http://www.raelambert.com/characters/furlings.htm

Then there's this little children book on Abigail Mouse and her fellow friend Sophie the rabbit.

And there is this play...

Interesting! The little mouse is more popular than she could ever imagine. Popular to little children, to be precise :)

Passion for Dancing! (Part II)

Yes, dancing updates! The little mouse is always ever so excited to share about her passion in dancing. Never has she regretted taking time off to go for the classes. You know, the time she spent on dancing classes, she could gladly use is for.... well, sleeping... and the money for the dancing fees for... well, eating...

Hmm... eating and sleeping... a definite sign of PPM (Pre-Procrastination Syndrome), which will lead to SDD (Silent Dream Death). Let’s not dwell into that, shall we? Life has too much wonder to discover :)

Back to the topic.

The little mouse would really really really (yes, crazily really) would want to get a pair of purple dancing shoes! Yes, for the love of dancing and her purple indulgence. But, hardly she can find dancing shoe shops or shoe makers in her homeland. However, that did not stop her from browsing through the designs in the Internet. And all you Internet lovers say, amen!

These dancing shoes are just lovely shoes… really an adoration…*drool*

But, she still needs to scout her homeland for it. Most probably she needs to open her mouth and ask her fellow dancing friends in her class.

In the meantime, let’s drool over the pictures she got from the web site: http://www.latindancefashions.com

Yes, yes and yes. This is NOT purple. But it's really nice swweeeettt... :)

Ode to Wern

The little mouse has a wonderful friend, Wern. When she knew that her friend is leaving to another land in pursue of her dreams, the little mouse was broken hearted. For she knew she will miss her wonderful friend dearly. Especially the sharing and the bonding with her…

The chits and the chats together…
The laughter and giggles shared…
The classical music and the orchestra listened…
The blues and swings and the jazz night out…

“I’ll already missing you…” exclaimed the little mouse, though there is three more month till she leaves.
So, the little mouse blesses her dear friend. And pray that the Lord will bless her and guide her as she ventures out into the foreign land. Pray for protection over her safety and health. And pray for favor among the people in that land. Pray that she will prosper in wisdom, health and wealth. And also, pray that she will not forget her little mousie friend in her homeland. Amen.

Passion for Dancing!

It was the little mouse’s New Year resolution three year ago. Then, it became her resolution for the next year. And the year after that…

Well, have to admit it, procrastination is a deadly silent dream killer.

“Enough is enough! It’s time to take action. Or again, let my heart suffer from another year of lost dream!” Hmm… ok, the little mouse was a bit exaggerating. But then again, why let down a passion God has placed in her heart doze off into silent slumber… again…

On the first month of the year 2007, the little mouse went on a journey of exploration and search. She took time and effort to search far and wide (on the day she really wanted to sleep! Oh yes, nothing like a Sunday afternoon nap). After her daily work, she pursued on her exploration. She enquired, observed, sampled…

And yes, she finally decided…

The dance school she’s going to enroll! Yes, you got that right! The little mouse is learning to dance. Latin dance, to be precise.

Now, she has gone through two wonderful classes. She enjoyed the savor of every moment. Well, sometimes she does feel silly; dancing on her own, observing her own feet, counting the beats and giggling profusely. Nevertheless, she never could imagine dancing can such a breathtaking passion (literally speaking, the little mouse sometimes forgot to breathe while counting her steps).

Oh, how she longs to dance and dance and dance! An hour class weekly never seems enough. The steps, the twirls, the beats, the sway… how she wishes to dance all night long.

And how thankful she is to God. Who had planted such passion in her heart… Amen!

---

BTW, good site for those who are interested about dancing; whether it's good ol' cha cha cha, the fun quicksteps and even the elegant waltz. They even post video clips on how to do some basic dancing steps.

Psalm 23

Taken from a forwarded email :)

Psalm 23

The Lord is my Shepherd
That's Relationship!

I shall not want
That's Supply!

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures.
That's Rest!

He leadeth me beside the still waters.
That's Refreshment!

He restoreth my soul
That's Healing!

He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness.
That's Guidance!

For His name sake
That's Purpose!

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death.
That's Testing!

I will fear no evil.
That's Protection!

For Thou art with me
That's Faithfulness!

Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me,
That's Discipline!

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
That's Hope!

Thou anointest my head with oil,
That's Consecration!

My cup runneth over.
That's Abundance!

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.
That's Blessing!

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord.
That's Security!

Forever.
That's Eternity!

Quando Quando Quando

Yes, the little mouse finally heard her all time favourite swing performed live at Alexis. Most yummiest tiramisu cake ever too :)

Quando, Quando, Quando
(originally a pop song by Engelbert Humperdinck. Also sang by Michael Buble's, with a jazzy twist :D )

Tell me when will you be mine
Tell me quando quando quando
We can share a love divine
Please don't make me wait again

When will you say yes to me
Tell me quando quando quando
You mean happiness to me
Oh my lover tell me when

Chorus:
Every moments a day
Every day seems a lifetime
Let me show you the way
To a joy beyond compare

I can't wait a moment more
Tell me quando quando quando
Say its me that you adore
And then darling tell me when

Chorus:
Every moments a day
Every day seems a lifetime
Let me show you the way
To a joy beyond compare

I can't wait a moment more
Tell me quando quando quando
Say its me that you adore
And then darling tell me when

Amazing Grace

Little mouse's worship for tonight :) The good ol' Amazing Grace.

(By John Newton)

G C G
Amazing grace, how sweet the sound,
D
That saved a wretch like me!
G C G
I once was lost, but now am found,
Em D G
Was blind, but now I see.

'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear,
The hour I first believed!

Through many dangers, toils and snares,
We have already come;
'Tis grace has brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.

When we've been here ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We've no less days to sing God's praise
Than when we'd first begun.

Good, Better, Best!

The worst enemy of "Better"
Is not "Bad"
Nor it is "Worse"
And not even "Worst".

It is "Good".

Paradoxical? No way!

Be Holy (Part 2)

Third day of the little mouse new work in the big-big world “out there”. Responsibilities are bucketing. Expectation is pilling big. Challenges spawns like mushrooms on a rainy day. Learning to be more optimistic in life is the first lesson the little mouse is to learn, you may say.

Well, not actually…

The first and foremost and also most important lesson the little mouse should, and keep on learning, is to be holy.

The little mouse was attempting to squeeze her car into the teeny weeny parking space, when suddenly she heard a sound. A tiny sound mighty enough to push her into the deepest, darkest pit of anxiousness.

Sssvvvxxxtttddd... Her car had “accidentally” scraped the car next to the parking space she was trying to get in. Just as she was plunging down into the deepest, darkest pit of anxiousness, time suddenly stopped. She turned her head and saw. Behold! The “poor injured” car was an oh-so-lavishly-expensive-and-never-in-her-life-see-such-a-beautiful-car! After a minute ogling at the luxurious car, she continued her journey of plunging down the deepest, darkest pit of anxiousness.

Then, ran three parking attendants to her.

Mr. Parking 1: OHHHHH… You smashed the car! You smashed Mr. Richman’s car!
Mr. Parking 2: AHHHHH… How now, har? How?
Little mouse: (speechless… while looking at the three tiny five-centimeters grazes at the bumper)
Mr. Parking 1: The car is damaged!! (voice raising high)
Little mouse: (speechless… still looking at the three tiny five-centimeters grazes at the bumper)
Mr. Parking 2: How now, little missy? What you are to do about it? (his stern look fired a high capacity laser beam into the little mouse’s heart)
Little mouse: (speechless… sobbing quietly while praying for God’s help)
Mr. Parking 3: This car is extremely expensive, you know! What you are going to do about it? (his words fired gazillions of bullets into her heart)
Little mouse: (praying even harder) I am sorry. I will pay for the damages caused.
Mr. Parking 2: Ok, pay now!!
Mr. Parking 3: You know how expensive this car is? You better pay now!
Little mouse: Erm, I will pay the car owner myself and say sorry to him.
Mr. Parking 1: How can? Pay us now!
Little mouse: I’ll give you my phone number. Please pass it to him and kindly ask him to give me a call. I’ll settle with him.
Mr. Parking 1: Just pay us now and get it over with! Mr. Richman is going to be furious when he knows you damage his car! (his annoyed look launched ten thousands torpedoes into her heart)
Little mouse: It’s ok. I will apologize to him myself. I will settle the payment myself.
Mr. Parking 2: Pay us! Why don’t you pay us! He’ll be fuming with anger with us! You know, we’ll be the one he’ll bawl at. (his anger launched five millions silos targeting to hit her heart)
Little mouse: Then, just pass Mr. Richman my details… I’ll talk to him… (trembling with fear and praying even harder)
Mr. Parking 1: … (speechless)
Mr. Parking 2: … (speechless)
Mr. Parking 3: … (speechless)

So, then, the three parking attendants took the little mouse’s details and phone number to be passed to Mr. Richman. Mr. Richman did call the end of the day. He was not really a baddie. Rich... very very rich, but not really a baddie. He was actually glad that she had passed her contact to him and not to run away by giving the money to the parking attendants. The little mouse knew that if she were to give money to the three parking attendants, she does not need to go through the hassle of meeting up with Mr. Richman to discuss on the payment for the damages (yes, three tiny five-centimeters grazes, to be precise) she had caused.

The amount to be paid was then settled. The amount she has to pay for the three tiny five-centimeters grazes on his car bumper was more than what she expected. Yes, far far FAR more and even beyond what she expected to pay. Then, there she goes again, plunging down into the deepest, darkest pit of anxiousness…

Well, at least, she’s glad she made the right choice. Her loving God will help her through… Amen.

Be Holy (Part 1)

Yesterday was the little mouse’s first day at work in a new place. Oh what great scent; the whiff of a new adventure! After a hard day of work (not really though), it’s time for the little mouse to travel back to her humble abode.

Unfamiliar with the route home, the little mouse could not decide on whether on taking the left turn or heading straight. On one second, the little mouse thought, “I remembered, it’s the left turn!”

But, at the very last second, “Oh no, I think I am supposed to go straight…”

And off her little mousie car swayed, from the left lane to the middle lane.

Oblivious to her, she committed an “illegal” move! Mr. Policemantoe and Mr. Policemantaa who was at the junction stopped her. “Oh no, what wrong have I done?” the little mouse pondered, while her mind is still very much cluttered with question; which direction leads her home.

Mr. Policemantaa: Hey, mousie lady, you know what traffic offenses you did?
Little mouse: Err… no, actually…
Mr. Policemantaa: Sure?
Little mouse: Was it because I swayed to the middle lane?
Mr. Policemantaa: You did an illegal sway, my dear! Where are you heading?
Little mouse: Home. I thought home was that way. But in the end, I think it’s this way.
Mr. Policemantaa: Heck, no. You should take that way. That way leads you home. Why the sudden change of mind?
Little mouse: I was not sure. I am very unfamiliar to this place.
Mr. Policemantaa: So how? Want to pay the fine or not?
Little mouse: Huh? Not pay the fine?
Mr. Policemantaa: Yes, missy. Not pay the fine…
Little mouse: … (stared blankly at him)
Mr. Policemantaa: Treat us a meal, if you wish not pay the fine. (grinning cheek to cheek)
Little mouse: … (continue to stare blankly at him)
Mr. Policemantaa: Yes, just gave both of us a “treat”. Else, you have to pay 300 Dils. That’s a lot, you know! (grinning ear to ear)
Little mouse: 300 Dils??? (eyes opened bewildered)

Then, in all sudden, the little mousie angel and the little mouse devil appeared on both side of her shoulder.

The red devil whisper to her in one ear, “Hey, 300 Dils is a lot of money! Think of the hard work you poured in to earn a better living. Think about all the pretty dresses and delicious meals you can buy with it. Come on, give them a ‘treat’. Besides, everyone does it! It’s so common. So normal. So, why not?”

And so, the little red devil continued with his long, elaborated thesis on why not the little mouse gave a “meal treat” to the policemen.

The little white angel spoke of only two words. In a gentle whisper, he said, “Be holy”.

Little mouse: Err… Mr. Policemantaa, it’s ok. Since I have done wrong, I deserved the fine.
Mr. Policemantaa: What???????? (eyes wide opened bewildered)
Mr. Policemantoe: What’s happening here? So, how little missy?
Mr. Policemantaa: This little missy wants a fine!
Little mouse: I have done wrong. Please fine me.
Mr. Policemantoe: Are you sure? Come, let me see your driving license.
Little mouse: Here you go.

So, Mr. Policemantoe took the little mouse’s driving license and took out his pen and this notebook.

Mr. Policemantoe: Where you heading, missy? (flipping the pages of his notebook)
Little mouse: Oh, I am heading home. May I ask, which way to home. I am quite lost.
Mr. Policemantoe: Oh, go straight. That’s the easier route. Don’t turn left.
Little mouse: Will there be traffic jam there?
Mr. Policemantoe: Well, in this hustling-bustling city, it will be jammed.
Little mouse: Oh… no other way?
Mr. Policemantoe: Yes, but straight would be much easier.
Little mouse: Thanks, Mr. Policemantoe.
Mr. Policemantoe: Hmmm… next time becareful. Don’t do any illegal move anymore, okay?

And then, the policeman handed her back her license… just her license. She received no fine.

She’s glad she made the right choice; that is to be holy as Lord her God is holy. For her choice pleases God. And that is what matter most.

Thank God.

Emptiness vs Fullness

At any time,
Can something so void can be so fulled?
And something so fulled can be so void?

Yes, is the answer.
When my fullness of contentment fills the void of hunger for Him.
When void of hunger for Him empties my fullness of contentment.

It is, then, a true and pure worship and prayer rises up,
And the One I seek become to so real to me.

Paradoxical? Nay, it’s not.

Ezra 3 (NIV) (emphasis: mine)
(10) When the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the Lord, the priests in their vestments and with trumpets, and the Levites (the sons of Asaph) with cymbals, took their places to praise the Lord, as prescribed by David king of Israel. (11) With praise and thanksgiving they sang to the Lord:
"He is good; His love to Israel endures forever." And all the people gave a great shout of praise to the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid. (12) But many of the older priests and Levites and family heads, who had seen the former temple, wept aloud when they saw the foundation of this temple being laid, while many others shouted for joy. (13) No one could distinguish the sound of the shouts of joy from the sound of weeping, because the people made so much noise. And the sound was heard far away.
