Dancing Shoes

A mission she embarked with a friend,
On one bright sunny weekend,
In search for a shoe for her dancing delight,
So she could dance from morn’ till twilight.

To the land of Cheras, off they go,
In search of a shoe-maker that many told,
Taman Midah may not be a mine of gold,
But San Lee Shoe Shop must they behold.

Uncle Shoe-Maker humble as can be,
Though attending customer, busy as a bee,
Tips and advices he throws in for free,
On selecting good shoes for dancer wanna-be (me!).

Yes, a pair of shoe finally she ordered,
One with dark grey painted all over,
And two purple strips on the cover,
And shimmering dust glittering all over.
