Death and Resurrection

27th March 2005. The date embedded in her heart, mind, spirit and soul. A day never to be forgotten. The day the darkness wailed in vain, as it plunges down to a bottomless pit.

27th March 2005. A funeral that celebrates her death was held the very this day. Yes, she died on this date. Drown by water. It was her free will to step into the depth. Suicide, you presume? Murder more to it.

She had been standing by the sea cliff for quite some time. Her feet itching to take the another step. The last step. She turned to the sky and asked out loud, “Should I, or should I not?” She paused for an answer.

Waakkkkk… Waaakkkk… Nothing was heard but the disturbing wails from the black crows. They seemed to be everywhere she goes. Noise. She wished they just disappear.

Conclusion. She had decided. To take the very step of obedience. For the love for Him to be known by all. To go through what He had been. To be completed and understood what He meant when He said, “It had finished”.

What good is it, when you declare you love Him whole-heartedly for eternity. But dare not marry Him? A simple command. Abundance of faith required.

The little mouse began to lift her feet…

Waakkk… Waakkk… The crows shrieked even louder. Their numbers increased, forming a dark muddle around her. They will not give her up. They will not let her go. She was “belonged” to them!

Their noise tightened around her neck. Fear and terror wrapped around her mind. Heavy, dark, smog clogged her throat and lungs. What meant to be beautiful turned despicable in her eyes. Tears out of no reason…

Sight, although very much obscured, she saw… A Dove, white as the water, bright as the sun. It looked back at her. A warm smile. Hope.

Her eyes locked on to the little Dove. Her hand reached forward to touch it. Just a touch of its feather… her heart determined. Up lift, her heavy, bounded feet… There is no turning back. She had decided. The last step… completed…

Plunged. Down she fell in the water, back-down, face-up, eyes closed. She could still hear, the cries of the crows. Defeated. Powerless. “Serve you right”, she smiled. Splashed. Her whole body immersed deeply into the water. Drowning into the bottomless ocean. Dead, at last. She “murdered” her ownself.

Then came two hands. Bright, beautiful and glorious. Held her little hands. Lifting her up from the ocean water. As she reached the surface, she gasped for air. Her eyes slowly opened, just a peek, she wanted to see. Oh, what glorious sight! The bright, beautiful golden sun. The cotton-white clouds. Birds singing in the sky. Fishes dancing in the water.

And the Dove! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Did she die? Yes she did. It was really her funeral this very day. But, who is she who is standing on the surface of the ocean? She was resurrected. Her birthday as well. She a newborn infant. She had “murdered” her past. No longer now holding any bondage on her. Freedom! A God-given second chance. She has now declared to the world, her marriage with Him. And pronounced that she is His loving daughter. Never will she regret of this, ever.

Hallelujah! All praise to the King!

Amen!

Sunday, 27th March 2005, Easter Day.
After about a year relationship with her Heavenly Father, the little mouse took the step of faith, love and obedience and was baptized with water on this very day at New Life Restoration Centre, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Amen.

“Therefore, I tell you, do not worry…”

Once, on the way to Hreilm City to visit one of her long lost friend, the little mouse met someone intriguing. Very much inspired by her new friend’s faith and strength, the little mouse decided write her friend’s life story into her journal.

This is her story...

“Dawn. The air is cool. The tingling sensation when hundreds of little, cold dew touches my skin. Oh, such marvel. Inhaled deeply, the fragrant morning breeze. Inhaled deeply, again and again and again… The sky is still dark; I could still see the moon. The sun is rising, the sun is rising… my heart pounded. I will miss the moon though, even as I am crazing for the sweet taste of sunshine.

Break of dawn. The first glimpse of the golden sun was majestic. Look at the clouds! The matrimony between red, orange, blue and purple never as perfect as this. Or, at least, I think so.

Morning. I am all packed with enough water to go on for the whole today! Anticipating the very best to happen. Not minding the wind that blows. There’ll be wind, for sure, whether it is just a light gust or an enormous storm. They may be tough. I may fall and cry too. But once the wind has passed, I know, for sure, I’ll reap another star.

Afternoon. The heat is getting immense. The water in me is drying up fast. Oh, my head. The heat is really hurting my head. Not forgetting the wind, swaying me left and right and left again… Now, don’t you worry about me. You might think I will fall. But I won’t. How about the water, you say? I thought I told you. I had enough water for the whole day.

Evening. Finally. Birds are starting to return to their humble abode. As they flew pass me, they stopped to admire me. Oh yes, I am truly a beautiful sight! Clad in silky, pearl white dress. With a shimmering diamond tiara on my head. Even King Solomon was never dressed as beautiful as me.

Night. Everywhere is dark. And not forgot to mention, eerie. Fear and worry lurking in the darkness. Panic heightened. Guilt emerged. Loneliness... Am I truly alone? No! I won’t fall for that same, o’ lame trap. I am not alone. Was never and will never. He’s always with me. He’ll never forsake me. That is why, even in the darkness, I can still find light.

5 minutes till midnight. I begin to count every minute left. Exhausted. Water in me running dry.

4 minutes till midnight. Thirst conquering me, creeping from the bottom at my feet.

3 minutes till midnight. Will I survive? I surely will. Definitely.

2 minutes till midnight. Tired and weary. Been standing up right for the whole day. My legs felt fatigue. I can’t stand up right.

1 minute till midnight. Lord, HELP!

Midnight. Down flow glorious Milk from Heaven. Such wondrous rain. Filling my well full again. Oh Lord, what am I to do without You. For I am just a lily at a field. I neither toil nor spin. But yet You clothed me warm and beautiful, and grant me my everyday provision. You take away my worry and weary. And shower me Your Holy presence.

I am all up and fully armored and filled. Ready for today’s adventure. How about tomorrow, you say? Well, tomorrow is another story…”

Mathew 6: 25 - 33
25 "Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
28 "So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

31"Therefore do not worry, saying, "What shall we eat?' or "What shall we drink?' or "What shall we wear?' 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Welcome to the One of the Best Town in the World!

The train finally came to a stop. After hours and hours of sitting on the hard wooden chair, the little mouse was greatly relieved she has reached her destination. She had to admit it, that the scenery throughout the long, tiring journey was breathtaking! It was like a never-ending painting with lushes of green, sprinkles of red, purple and yellow and wholesome of blue and cotton-soft white. Simply majestic, the Creator’s art.

The little mouse tried to stand. Oh, her back and her bottom! She felt like she is 50 years older. How she wished she sat on a soft, plush cushion instead of the hard old wood all through the rough and bouncy journey. Don’t think the First Class passengers have to bear with it.

Nevertheless, she hurriedly reached out for her luggage and squeezed along with many, excitingly to get the first glimpse to this wonderful town.

Town? A city more to it. In fact, it’s a metropolis!

It is a metropolis with EVERYTHING! From little boys games to the latest invention. Flowers, technology, fashion, entertainment, food… You named it, they got it. Many around the world are dying to come here. And once they are here, they got so addicted to this place that they wouldn’t want to leave. Well, some got bored and left. Or should I rather say, A HANDFUL of them got bored and left. Nonetheless, the town has really grown tremendously.

The little mouse was at first reluctant to come. 120 Dil for the Economy Class train ticket, hours and hours of bouncing up and down on a wooden chair, the hassle of getting an accommodation, time off from her everyday work. Wonder why everyone is so addicted to this place?

Then, why she came anyway? Princess Jeannie and her younger sister Princess Chingaling of Eladour shown her the photos that they had taken during their journey there.

“I have to admit it, it was splendid! You ought to visit it when you have the time,” the younger sister said.

“I agreed with the first statement, my dear. But not the second one. You ought to visit it IMMEDIATELY. And do tell me your experience there. And, oh, and we might meet there!” exclaimed the elder sister with much exhilaration.

Out of peculiarity, she took some time off, brought the train ticket, and now she HERE!

Excitingly, she stepped down the train stairs. As soon as her little mousie feet hit the ground, she looked up to the beautiful blue sky and shouted in her heart…

“Welcome to one of the best town in the world… BLOG!”
