Dear paradoxical human,
Why is it,
Upon seeing a deadly trap,
Yet you still put your foot to step?
Why is it,
Upon sensing a lethal temptation,
Yet you still touch the fiery combustion.
Poor paradoxical human,
Has your ego swallowed you?
And your pride blinded you?
Where is your sense of direction and goal?
Right or wrong, you don’t even know.
And who are you to say,
That you are in control of everything,
And you are wise and know all things.
Wake up, paradoxical human,
Naked you came to earth,
And soon, naked you shall leave earth.

The mousie journey continues...
Here am I again,
Sharing my joys and pains,
On a journey in this temporary place,
Till I reach His everlasting palace.
Yes, I'm blogging again (I hope :P)

The little frog in my room
I found a little frog in my room,
One fine afternoon, as I groomed my room.
I wonder high, I wonder low,
How it leaped in, I really do not know.
For all doors are closed and all windows are shut,
Entering my room would be like cracking a tough nut.
Rather a disgust, I thought at first glance,
Nothing to adore or awe, by any chance.
With a head full with steam and a broom in my hand,
I tried to chase it out with all that I can.
I screamed and yelled and stomped my feet,
With the broom in my hand, I swinged in an unruly beat.
But the little frog neither would budge nor cry nor flee,
Instead, it looked at me with its eyes cute as can be.
The little frog let out a comforting smile,
Then my heart softened like a little child.
“If you may, I truly want to be your friend,
For you, I really wish to care and tend.”
Its words touched my heart oh so deeply,
And so, a kiss I laid on its head, light and gently.
Lo and behold, the frog suddenly transformed,
Into prince charming, it astonishingly formed.
Oh dear, oh gosh, what is going on?
Dear prince charming, where you come from?
“Remember what I told you not too long ago?
I hope to be your friend, and not your foe.”
Such beautiful blessing, oh so surprising,
This little frog in my room is rather bewildering.
Dear little cute frog, you’re such an adore,
You entered my sealed room, which can be rather a bore.
You offered me friendship and joy and many more,
Yes, little frog, you’re such an adore.

Lost Watch
My watch I lost one destined day,
The clouds suddenly seem so gray,
But wonder why, really, that day,
My heart had never been so gay?
A sudden change I felt, I sensed,
Though it does not seem to make any sense,
Like another realm I have transcend,
Or maybe, just my imagination leaking without consent.
Lord, send Your divine wisdom as aid,
So that the focus on You will never fade,
And remind me of the price You paid,
And Your will and my purpose, that I am made.
Amen.

O Blistered Heel
O blistered heel, poor blistered heel,
Won’t you quickly heal, please quickly heal,
‘Cause I want to dance with zeal, yes, full with zeal,
In every moment we can steal, that we will steal.
Won’t you quickly heal, please quickly heal,
‘Cause I want to dance with zeal, yes, full with zeal,
In every moment we can steal, that we will steal.

Dancing Shoes
A mission she embarked with a friend,
On one bright sunny weekend,
In search for a shoe for her dancing delight,
So she could dance from morn’ till twilight.
To the land of Cheras, off they go,
In search of a shoe-maker that many told,
Taman Midah may not be a mine of gold,
But San Lee Shoe Shop must they behold.
Uncle Shoe-Maker humble as can be,
Though attending customer, busy as a bee,
Tips and advices he throws in for free,
On selecting good shoes for dancer wanna-be (me!).
Yes, a pair of shoe finally she ordered,
One with dark grey painted all over,
And two purple strips on the cover,
And shimmering dust glittering all over.

Good, Better, Best!
The worst enemy of "Better"
Is not "Bad"
Nor it is "Worse"
And not even "Worst".
It is "Good".
Paradoxical? No way!

Emptiness vs Fullness
At any time,
Can something so void can be so fulled?
And something so fulled can be so void?
Yes, is the answer.
When my fullness of contentment fills the void of hunger for Him.
When void of hunger for Him empties my fullness of contentment.
It is, then, a true and pure worship and prayer rises up,
And the One I seek become to so real to me.
Paradoxical? Nay, it’s not.
Ezra 3 (NIV) (emphasis: mine)
(10) When the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the Lord, the priests in their vestments and with trumpets, and the Levites (the sons of Asaph) with cymbals, took their places to praise the Lord, as prescribed by David king of Israel. (11) With praise and thanksgiving they sang to the Lord:
"He is good; His love to Israel endures forever." And all the people gave a great shout of praise to the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid. (12) But many of the older priests and Levites and family heads, who had seen the former temple, wept aloud when they saw the foundation of this temple being laid, while many others shouted for joy. (13) No one could distinguish the sound of the shouts of joy from the sound of weeping, because the people made so much noise. And the sound was heard far away.

Changes
A change, I shouted loudly,
To rebel over monotony,
And to defy conformity,
A better good, I strife earnestly.
Change I encountered, after the fight,
But there I stood, paralyzed and uptight,
The next step was an intimidating might,
The unknown was as dark as the night.
In faith I put my best foot forward,
In prayer I hope my heart not to coward,
Lord, help me through the seas of doubt,
And fill my lonesomeness with Your Word.
Amen.
Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

I, too, cry...
I cry because I am hurt,
I am hurt because things matters,
Things matters because I am important,
I am important because He cares.
Paradoxical? Nay, it’s not.
Psalm 56:8 (NIV)
Record my lament;
list my tears on Your scroll
are they not in Your record?

I am important because He cares.

Song of Eve
Why is that, o Eve,
Hurricanes are named after you?
Katrina, Hazel and Rita,
Bears your name.
Is that because,
Of the fierce twirling winds,
Rushing ferociously,
Round and round,
A silent, quiet hollow?
Won’t you pacify, o Eve,
Your fierce frantic winds,
Rest assured in Lord of Eden,
And let loose, o Eve,
The beauty He has made you to be.
Come out, o Eve,
Let us hear you sing and dance,
Be pursued,
Be cherished,
Be romanced,
Be loved.
After all, you are His final touch,
In His wondrous work of art,
You are beautiful, o Eve,
Yes, above all, you are beautiful.
Hurricanes are named after you?
Katrina, Hazel and Rita,
Bears your name.

Happiness & Joy
We’re happy when we’re not sad,
But we’re joyful even when we’re sad.
For happiness depends on circumstances,
But joy is always full in abundance,
Though happiness is sentiment reaction,
Joy is an option.
Paradoxical, it is not.
But we’re joyful even when we’re sad.

Though happiness is sentiment reaction,
Joy is an option.

And knowledge is within close proximity.

Thank God for Woman!
Man, thank God for woman daily,
For He has made her your suitable helper so beautifully,
And imagine what it be like, if only,
Adam would have chosen an elephant, a gorilla or even a cow initially?
:)
Genesis 2: 19-22 (NIV)
(19) Now the Lord God had formed out of the ground all the beasts of the field and all the birds of the air. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. (20) So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds of the air and all the beasts of the field.
But for Adam no suitable helper was found. (21) So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man's ribs and closed up the place with flesh. (22) Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.
For He has made her your suitable helper so beautifully,
And imagine what it be like, if only,
Adam would have chosen an elephant, a gorilla or even a cow initially?

The Walk
Why is that, sometimes,
The journey through the trail of loneliness
Seems far more devastating
Than the walk through the valley of shadow of death?
Paradoxical, isn’t it?

Dear Mister Tall Hat...
Dear Mister Tall Hat,
Do you mind me calling you that?
I know not your name, as the matter of fact,
Though you may not be really wearing a hat.
How are you lately, may I know?
I do pray you are all well and mellow,
With days painted with Daddy’s rainbow,
Truly I care for you, hope you’d know.
Daddy sang to me of you, one humble night,
Kind and gentle, yet courageous like a knight,
With wisdom and dream shimmering with bright,
But top of all, loves Daddy, with all your heart, soul and might.
Won’t you mind, telling me your story?
Of how Daddy painted your sky oh so starry,
And things that make you tear or merry,
And dreams and passions that so fiery.
Hand in hand, a synergy defined,
Of you and me and Daddy so divine,
Let love overflow, and joy never so fine,
And heart and faith, daily refined.
Curious am I to ask you of this,
Ever had Daddy sang you a song of me?
Yes, a rhythm that goes about a little Miss,
Along with her beauty, unique it may be.
Oh, for us to meet, one blessed day,
For if it’s Daddy’s will, He’ll make a way,
A mere delusion, hope not I pray,
Till Daddy’s timing, come what may.
I hope you’ll read this letter one fine day,
So my dreams won’t be let in lay,
Mister Tall Hat, though you may be far away,
Your happiness I’ll pray, day after day,
Do you mind me calling you that?

Where could the little mouse be, in a star sea galaxy?
Can you see her, little boy, with the telescope you bought yesterday?
Can you see her, Captain Hawk, through your adventurous nights in the wild oceans?
Can you see her, Billy and Jane, through your countless courtship at night?
Can you see her, Daddy, You who paint them beautifully on the velvet galaxy?
On the endless galaxy, there the little mouse stood,
By the right of the valiant white bear,
By the far left of the elegant snow swan,
In front of noble wise owl,
And yes, at the back of swift black stallion.
On top of her voice, she bloom a little melody,
Along with all others, resonating a pleasing harmony,
Flooding void with sweet, sweet symphony,
But what difference will it make,
If the little mouse silent her petite voice?
“So, sing to me, Daddy, again and again and again,
Sing to me, Your beautiful songs of the Hope and Dreams,
Let darkness shut silence by Your lyrics,
And nothingness to be filled with Your opus,
Again and again and again, sing to me the song of You,
And I will sing and dance, for You, forever and evermore…”
